Stead Impact

Stead Impact

From its inception as a start-up, Stead Impact Ventures and Foundation selected Meld to be a key, strategic marketing partner. Together, we are working to build awareness about the organization’s groundbreaking vision for improving health and well-being globally by supporting innovators who are driving advancements in neurodegenerative disorders, mental health, and obesity.

The origin story starts with Jerre and Mary Joy Stead who are fierce believers in giving back. Jerre built a successful career leading 10-plus public companies, and their Stead Foundation has given more than $400 million to nonprofit organizations. It’s often best known for the UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital, home of The Wave!  Today, Stead Impact Ventures extends that commitment by investing in start-up companies that are bending the curve in areas of Alzheimer’s, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s), and more.

Transformative and Dynamic Web Design

The Meld and Stead teams worked together to create strategic messaging and an engaging website design that captures the excitement, innovation, and compassion that resonates from this globally recognized organization. At its core, Stead Impact is rooted in innovation and bending the curve. For that reason, Meld’s design team used forward-thinking motion graphics and edge-to-edge photography to create a clean, simple, and dynamic site. Meld also developed the site and hosts and maintains it.

“A great partnership is built on mutual understanding. At the very beginning, the Meld team asked the right questions to really understand our brand and our goals. That deep understanding and their sensitivity allowed them to offer great solutions and take us down the right road in our website design and development. They are incredibly responsive, delightful human beings.”
