The University of Iowa School of Music was ready to open its beautiful new building, a full 8 years after facing a flood that required the music staff, faculty, and students to be housed in different buildings across campus.
Meld Founder Melinda Pradarelli conducted focus groups for faculty, staff, and students and worked closely with School and University leadership to refresh the School’s brand. It was an extensive process, one that involved talking with leadership, donors, alumni, current students, prospective students, and students’ parents. Designer Kevin Mellen worked with Melinda to develop the brand identity, strategic messaging, and to support the grand opening celebration.
Meld has worked with dozens of colleges and universities across the nation—both public and private. We understand higher education marketing. We have worked extensively on admissions and advancement campaigns as well as almost everything in-between.
The unity created from using Meld’s process, which infuses change management, to lead the School through a brand refresh as they moved into a beautiful new building in downtown Iowa City.
